Hokkaido Winter Photography Tour

INTRODUCTION
From Biei’s beautiful snowy rolling hills and distant mountains, streams, lone trees to unique fishing villages of Haboro and Wakkanai in the extreme north; winter is an amazing time to experience Hokkaido. You’ll get to photograph lone trees and the Red-Crowned Cranes in Kushiro. Join us on our incredible 10-day landscape and minimalism photography tour, where you will experience these amazing winter highlights of Japan!

BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1 (January 29)
Arrival in New Chitose Airport, Japan. Book your own hotel for this night close to Sapporo Station. 

Day 2 (January 30)

Hotel pick up in the morning. Drive to Lake Kussharo. Shoot swans and lone trees. Check in at our hotel in Kushiro.

Day 3 (January 31)
Morning shoot with Red-Crowned Cranes. Another shoot around Lake Kussharo. 

Day 4 (February 1)
Head to Biei. Shoot lone trees in the afternoon. 


Day 5 (February 2)
Another day of shooting around Biei.


Day 6 (February 3)
Head to Wakkanai. Shoot at Shosanbetsu Torii Gate. Check in at our hotel in Wakkanai.


Day 7 (February 4)
Shoot fishing boats, drying racks and tetrapods. 


Day 8 (February 5)
Head to Sapporo. Shoot windmills, cabins and coasts along the way. Check in at our hotel in Sapporo.

Day 9 (February 6)
Head to Mount Yotei and Lake Toya. Shoot around these locations. Check in at our hotel in Yakumo. 

Day 10 (February 7)
Head to Esashi to shoot the Kamome Island. Head back to Chitose. Stay at our hotel near the airport. 

Day 11 (February 8)

Flight Departure in New Chitose Airport

TO REGISTER
-50% down payment must be made upon registration.
-Balance must be settled 3 months before the first day of the trip.

-A copy of proof of down payment and identification must be sent francisansingphotography@gmail.com.  


CANCELLATION
-Deposit / downpayment is non-refundable.
-If full payment is not received by the specified dates, we reserve the right to treat the reservation as cancelled and we can retain the downpayment. 
-If a booking is made within 3 months before the first day of the trip, a full amount must be settled upon registration. 
-50% of the balance paid will be returned if cancelling 30 days or more before the first day of the trip. No refund will be given if cancelling within 30 days before the first day of the trip. 
-All cancellations must be made by writing an email to the organisers.
